camACE
The BST camACE Control System is a modular system for controlling the BST Camera Robotics including web-based control software on a desktop touchscreen , joysticks and physical push buttons.
Silent
Silent, passively cooled processor running the camACE Control Software.
Flexible
All panels can be mounted on top or inset desktop and be moved around to satisfy left and right handed persons. camACE software can dynamically adapt to to operation needed. Any button can be placed on any location within the system
Robust
Rigid desktop panels with some weight to enhance the manual control.
FEATURES
Recall shots
camACE let you save any amount of shots in the system to be used on any button available.
Recall sequences
With sequences it is possible to create a timeline of key frame position the camera and robot should ride through.
Multi Master System
If multiple camACE Controllers are in use and they access the same cameras, they will all show the real time status of the robotic cameras. This means that if a robotic camera is being controlled by the joystick on one camACE Controller the other camACE Controllers will reflect that on the screen. It is also possible to have a centrally located camACE controller acting as a backup of all configurations. If a camACE controller by any reason can't reach any other camACE controller it can still function stand alone, without any configuration or restarts.
Remote control
It is possible to remote control camACE in many different ways. The user interface is accessible with a standard Web browser, it is possible to control the system with ASCII commands over TCP IP and there is both RESTful and Websocket API's available.
Thumbnail creation
Any shot or sequence can host a unique thumbnail. camACE have a built in SDI frame grabber that can be used as source, it is also possible to get the video source from a network video stream.
Small desktop footprint
camACE and the accessories are designed to give the smallest desktop footprint with the most required functionality.
Redundant power
camACE controller have built in redundant power connections for enhanced power faliure security.
Show control
It's possible to host different configurations based on each show being produced with quick change access if needed
Multiple layouts
A camACE controller can have different customizable layouts within each show, making it possible to have different button configurations on different linked camACE controllers. Why not have one controller setup for a Director and another for a Camera Operator.
Built in GPI
The camACE controller have built in GPI functionality with 8 inputs and 8 outputs.
